At Logan Tay, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry pieces. We are committed to providing you with exceptional products and outstanding customer service. To ensure your complete satisfaction, we offer a comprehensive warranty on all our jewelry items.

Warranty Coverage:

We provide a 60-day warranty on all our jewelry items from the date of delivery. 

Damage: We will replace any jewelry item that arrives in a damaged condition, subject to verification by our team. If the damage occurs during shipping in transit and you have purchased Route insurance for your order, you will need to open a claim with Route to seek assistance in resolving the issue.

Our 60-Day Warranty covers manufacturing defects, including issues such as:

Charm attachment failure – A charm detaches from the piece due to a manufacturing or assembly defect.

Jump ring failure – A jump ring opens, breaks, or separates during normal wear and use due to a manufacturing defect.

Clasp failure – A clasp breaks, does not function properly, or cannot securely close due to a manufacturing defect.

Assembly defects – Issues resulting from the construction of the piece, such as improperly secured components, missing hardware, or other workmanship defects present at the time of production.

The 60-Day Warranty applies only to approved manufacturing and craftsmanship defects. For approved warranty claims submitted within the 60-day warranty period, Logan Tay will cover shipping both ways.

Return policy

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.

  • Notification: To claim the warranty, you must initiate the claim within 60 days of the delivery date. Please head to our Returns Portal and fill out order details and a description of the issue. If you have any questions you can contact hello@logantay.com
  • Return of the Item: In certain cases, we may require you to return the damaged item to us. Our customer support team will guide you through the return process.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper handling, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear.
  • Replacement: In case the exact jewelry piece is unavailable, we will offer you an alternative item of equal value or store credit.
  • Shipping: If a replacement is required, we will cover the shipping costs for sending the new item to you.

What Happens after the warranty period?

We understand that jewelry is meant to be worn, loved, and enjoyed.

For pieces outside of our 60-Day Warranty, we offer a Repair & Refresh Service designed to help extend the life of your Logan Tay jewelry.

All repair requests are reviewed individually by our team to determine the best solution. For items purchased more than 60 days ago, Logan Tay reserves the right to assess the condition of the piece and the nature of the damage. Depending on our findings, we may recommend our Repair & Refresh Bundle to restore your piece.

GOLD-FILLED JEWELRY

Gold-filled jewelry is a more affordable alternative to solid gold jewelry. It is made by bonding a genuine layer of gold onto a base metal with heat and pressure. This creates a permanent bond that contains 100+ times more gold than gold-plated jewelry.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR GOLD FILLED

At Logan Tay, we want your jewelry to last for years to come. To keep your pieces looking beautiful, please follow these care instructions:

-To help prolong the life of your jewelry, we do not recommend wearing your pieces in water, including pools, hot tubs, the ocean, or while showering.

- Keep your jewelry as dry as possible and away from humid areas. Store it individually in an airtight plastic bag and away from other metals.
- Avoid wearing your jewelry in water, including pools, hot tubs, the ocean, and while showering. Water exposure can shorten the life of your jewelry and accelerate tarnishing. Also avoid contact with chlorine, perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals

We recognize the diversity in the composition of our customers' skin makeup. Each individual's skin is unique, which can result in varying reactions to certain products and materials used in our products. This policy aims to clarify our stance on the potential for tarnishing and discoloration that may occur due to these genetic makeup differences. We advise considering this information before placing your order.

If you follow these care instructions for your pieces, your Logan Tay pieces will remain beautiful and last for years to come. 

Repairs and Alterations

Do you offer repairs?

Yes.

Every Logan Tay piece is made with care, and we want you to love wearing it for years to come.

If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

If you experience an issue with your piece, please reach out to our team with your order number and photos, and we'll guide you through the next steps. Once we've reviewed your request, we'll provide instructions if your item needs to be sent in for repair. Please do not mail your piece until you have received approval from our team.

What is the repair and refresh bundle?

For a flat fee of $35, the Repair & Refresh Bundle includes assessment, repair labor, quality inspection, and return shipping back to you. Customers are responsible for shipping their piece to Logan Tay for evaluation and service. Our team can assist with many common repairs and adjustments, including:

● Reattaching charms
● Replacing jump rings
● Repairing or replacing damaged lobster clasps
● Repositioning existing charms
● Refreshing the layout of a custom piece
● Restringing a piece if the chain or strand has broken

  •  All original components must be present for restringing. Pieces with missing beads, charms, or other components cannot be restrung.
what is not covered under the repair and refresh bundle?

The Repair & Refresh Service does not cover:

  • Lost or missing charms
  • Lost or missing beads 
  • Lost or missing necklace chains
  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
  • Normal wear and tear beyond what can reasonably be repaired
  • Replacement of materials that are no longer available
  • Issues determined not to be repairable after assessment

All repair requests are reviewed individually, and our team will communicate available options before proceeding with any work.

how do i request a repair or refresh?

Simply contact our team and provide:

● Your order number
● Photos of your piece
● A brief description of the issue

We'll review your request and recommend the best path forward.

Can I add an extender to my necklace?

In many cases, yes.

We offer a 2-inch necklace extender that can be added to many of our necklace styles for additional length and styling flexibility.

Because our pieces are designed in a variety of ways, extenders are not compatible with every necklace. Compatibility depends on the specific chain and clasp construction of your piece.

The extender is available for $20.

Customers are responsible for shipping their necklace to Logan Tay for extender installation. Return shipping back to the customer is included once the service is completed.

If you're unsure whether your necklace is compatible, contact our team before purchasing and we'll be happy to help determine the best option for your piece.

Extenders cannot be self-installed and must be professionally added by our team to ensure proper fit, function, and quality.

Can I add more charms to my necklace?

Absolutely.

One of the things we love most about charm jewelry is that your collection can grow and evolve over time.

If you'd like to add a new charm to an existing Logan Tay piece, simply purchase the charm you'd like to add and we'll take care of the rest.

  • Include instructions indicating where you would like your new charm placed on the necklace. If no placement instructions are provided, our design team will thoughtfully determine the placement for you.
  • Once the charm has been added, we will return your necklace at no additional service charge

Please note that customers are responsible for shipping their necklace to Logan Tay for charm additions.

In Store

If you're local to Palm Beach, we'd love to see you. Visit us in-store and we'll add your new charm for you—no shipping required.

Please note that this service is currently available only for Logan Tay necklaces. Because chain styles, materials, and construction methods vary by brand, we are unable to modify jewelry not originally made by Logan Tay.

If you're looking to remove, reposition, or otherwise modify existing charms, our Repair & Refresh Bundle may be the best option. Contact our team and we'll help determine the right service for your piece.

Can my necklace be restrung?

In many cases, yes.

Restringing services are available when the original materials are present and reusable.

If original materials are missing or cannot be reused, our team will recommend the best available solution before proceeding.

Because each piece is unique, restringing requests are evaluated individually to determine the most appropriate repair option.

Please allow 2–3 weeks for evaluation, repair, and processing once your piece has been received by our team. Processing times may vary based on the complexity of the repair and current service volume.

All restringing requests are subject to evaluation and approval by the Logan Tay team. We reserve the right to decline a restringing request if original materials are missing, components are too damaged to be reused, or if we determine that the piece cannot be properly restrung.

What if my jewelry tarnishes?

Our pieces are crafted using a variety of high-quality materials, and care requirements may vary by style. Certain finishes, including antique gold styles, may require additional care and maintenance to preserve their appearance over time.

If you experience unusual tarnishing within 60 days of delivery, please contact our team with photos of your piece. We will review the issue to determine whether it may be related to a manufacturing defect and, if approved, repair or replace the item at no cost.

After the 60-day warranty period, tarnishing resulting from normal wear, environmental exposure, water, chemicals, sweat, beauty products, improper storage, or other external factors is not covered under warranty.

Factors that can contribute to tarnishing over time include:

● Exposure to lotions, perfumes, and beauty products
● Chlorine, salt water, and other chemicals
● Sweat and skin chemistry
● Improper storage
● General wear over time

With proper care, your Logan Tay piece is designed to maintain its beauty for years to come.
